My interview on the Afternoon Show, Radio Derby with Andy Potter

On Monday 4/01/16, it was my privilege to a guest on the Afternoon Show on BBC Radio Derby, with Andy Potter. This was my first live interview on either radio, or television and I was very nervous. Andy soon put me at ease however and I found that what I’d expected would have been a very nerve wracking experience, turned out to be a pleasant and enjoyable one. Thanks also to Andy’s Producer Clare Cully.

If you’d like to listen to the interview it  is available on the BBC iPlayer Radio and will be up and until 3/02/16. The link is below.

As a first time newly published author, I am humbled by the support other writers give us ‘newbies’. I’d especially like to thank two of them, English writer Deborah Swift and American writer Mercedes Fox.

Deborah Swift  kindly allowed me to write a short piece about what inspired me to write my novel, ‘Divided Empire’ and some of the places depicted in the novel. if you want to read  the piece, you can find it on Deborah’s ‘Royalty Free Fiction’Website (address below):
